The BISM news

Long time since I\'ve updated everyone!

Instead of just putting everything on hold until the next version of Planeshift is released, I\'ve decided The BISM is going to continue to expand and get better. Therefore, I\'ve added ways regular members can become involved with us.

In the members section of our forum, I\'ve posted a list of ways you can earn points. These points you earn through the various ways are added together, making your grade. The higher the grade that you have, the better/more job offers you will receive, you earn higher benefits as a member, and generally earn money faster. So, if you are a member, go check them out...if your not...you should be, as you can only benefit from becoming one.

The more points you earn does not give you any greater responsibilities, you can be as lazy as someone with much less points as you if you want, all it means is you receive more options to profit.

And remember, The BISM is not a guild and so you can be in it as well as guilds.

I visited the website but I\'m still not entirely certain as to the nature of Bism.

1. Can you be in a clan called Bism if you want to?
2. If you are in another clan where is your main loyalty to bism or to your clan?
3. How do you post jobs for people and can people hire bism to complete a job.
4. What do you believe will be the main type of job assigned in bism?
5. In the login screen it asks you a number of questions what happens if you cange your mind about anything.(like you say your race will be ywnns but decide dibole at the last minute or decide you want to open a shop and be amerchant instead of an assasin.)

If you could answer these questions for me that\'d be great thanks.

Umm...I guess you can if you want to, don\'t see why you would and I wouldn\'t appreciate my name being stolen for a guild...but it would certainly be possible, yes.

That is entirely up to you, The BISM does not make you do ANYTHING you do not want to, we simply offer you oppurtunities to earn money.

That is actually the main part of The BISM...we will have a page setup which people can submit \"jobs\" for us to do, we then decide on the payment, etc. and submit the job to the members it applies to (judging from faction, rank, and grade)

4. What do you believe will be the main type of job assigned in bism?

Hard to say, as there is no actual game yet it\'s hard to know what will be popular...if I were to guess I would think that mercenary work would be popular, but the merchant faction may be just as profitable without actually being hired out.

Race, etc. does not really matter that much to us, if you are planning on changing your profession and therefore want to change the faction you are in, just notify me (Kiern) or the leader of whatever faction you are currently in and it will be switched.
