Will there be a small map, like in RS, or do we have to find maps first, if there are any? Is there a compass for everyone or is it an expensive item? Do you get your position for free or do you need a sextant?

The little map, thing ain\'t really nessesary. But a map on the site, and a compass is. You seem to always need tho. Also, signs(like street signs) should be up to point wich direction is the city, mine, ect, from where your standing.

maps on the site would be usless if your playing. if ur lost your not going to want to hit alt-tab every 10 secs to get back to town.
i like the finding map idea, and having to bring em in your inventory or something.

I admit being on the site isn\'t best. but a map that shows exacly where you are with an arrow or whatever, makes it to easy.

Bye the looks of the screenshots the detail is so good that if you need a map for somewhere you have already been than there is a problem.
And besides half the fun for me I Think would be explorin... what good is that if you have a map telling you where every thing is

yes, but haven\'t u ever got SOO lost in a game that u spend HOURS trying to backtrack??? its terrible and not fun at all
i still like maps though, they dont neccassarily have to be totaly labled and stuff... just major things maybe. and they could just be plain without a needle pointing to where u are.

I think a map would be good. Say you have to buy one from in the game.. or find one.. and the map is like WarCraft\'s map where it only shows the areas that you have already explored.. and the rest of it is blacked out until you explore there. Would be pretty useful.

I like the idea of having a map for some areas, but there are also some dangerous places that have no map.
But I think there will appear player made maps on fansites soon, making a map and placing it on your site is a big part of the fun I think

I think some sort of rough map in game is always necessary, especially when you\'re just starting.
Btw Stickman: Are you Stickman from RS? I\'m sure I remember you and your sig from somewhere, and I have a very good memory
I\'m Ericd16 from Runescape.
