If you use the hold down shift to run and use W to move forward then press the down arrow you switch to the walk animation but still ove at the run speed.  

It looks like teh charactor is running to find a bathroom.

Also, if you quickly press S before running or walking forward with W, your character will use the opposite animation, so he will move forwards but move his legs backwards! :D

I agree, perhaps you should get some, maybe watch return of the king. I can hear it from the lounge now.
