One thing I find important about the more unusual extremities of creatures (like wings and tails):
These are bound to have been put to a use other than just flying or keeping balance. I\'m sure everyone who has seen a live cat knows that their tails are a most obvious sign of their mood. I\'d love to see this kind of thing in PS. Maybe have the user select the mood and the engine\'ll work out some semi-random movement?
The same goes for wings and those things on the heads (no, I do NOT mean hair! *g*) of the Klyros. Have them erect these if they\'re angry and have them make these as small as possible if they\'re frightened or trying to hide.
This opens up new possibilities for roleplaying as you can deliberately set a fake mood, like to trick your opponent into thinking you\'re frightened / submissive or whatever. Like facial expressions, really, which would also be cool. (or simply because you think it looks better one way or another

)
One can argue whether all race\'s facial expressions are the same due to the long time of common history, or if they are different and might not exist / mean the opposite / etc.

Oh, and I\'d _love_ plants on the ground / walls, like high grass, flowers, etc.. If they would react (not bite you, but sway or get knocked off / aside) to moving past / through, It\'d be so cool!
Oh yeah, I beg to leave the choice of ugliness / cuteness / darkness up to the player, because I\'m all for diversity. I loved the color selection of BG, NWN, etc..
I\'d _love_ to have a Klyros with tattoos on the wings! Yeah, that\'d be me, then!

Oh yeah, how about magically glowing tattoos? Not the best for hiding in the dark, but then again, it\'s my choice to choose flashy looks over functionality, isn\'t it?

Edited for adding more points.
