Game Freezes when Initializing World

Hello folks,

I downloaded Planeshift, installed it and tried to create a character but had the database error, because my machine runs on Windows XP. Okay, I searched through the forum and set the compatiblity mode of this certain file which name i don\'t remember to Windows 98.

Then I created a new character and loaded it up successfully. But everytime i try to connect to the world it freezes while initializing the world.



Any suggestions?

For some people first time initialization can take up to two hours. It just takes patience
Next time it will load a lot faster.
