PS log
« on: June 02, 2004, 08:25:48 pm »
i have made a nifty little program that will put my log up on a website, and remove all chat inserted.. this way you can see who is online without having to login at PS ;) (i was getting tired of hearing: \"you on ps? who is online?\")

Last updates system is on top.. so you can see when the last log has been uploaded... the bottom messages are the newest atm..

it runs at my normal pc so expect it not to be up-to-date all the time.. i can try and see if i can run PS 24/7, but that might take a while.. so for now:
http://www.ashes-guild.com/pslog/chat_dyari.txt

If you want i can add someone as a buddy.. PM me if you need. i\'ll login as Dyaritemp to hold the logs..

Can you try to remove all other useless things like the \'greet\' lines?

And you should also make it so only the most updated \'who\'s online\' is shown in the page, and other pages hold the archives of that day.

I have copies of [Windows] 3.1, 3.11, 95, and 98, too. Not to mention various versions of MS-DOS

tss it\'s just a beta version.. and now he complains ;) but thx anyway for the comments.. i\'ll try to set it to Join and Leave only.. coz automatisation of the /who command is above my limits of programming in PS ;) and yes, i think i will construct archives, but this expected in a day or 2.. (i can\'t make archives if i don\'t have the files ;)

Complaints? Nah, it\'s a great idea. I just gave ideas to making it better.

How about using something like MacroMaker? It might work...

You don\'t need long archives. Maybe an archive page per day, and purge them every week.

Macromaker? hmm i\'ll try and find something like that.. for now i am adding buddy\'s as we go.. i updated the filter a bit so that all stuff is filtered exept Join/Leave and /who commands... for now i\'ll keep the log short to ensure no errors ;)
and archives will surely be added soon :)
