How do we know he wont abandone our guild and go to some other?

As far as the begining of the guild, i think it was created on April 16th 2003... but i could be wrong.

Q: How many Planeshifters does it take to expalin a simple concept to a newb?
A: Six. Five to argue on who\'s explanation is right, and Moogie to lock the thread.

All right, I checked and it was actually the seventh of April.

There it is, short yet powerful. Zeph really has a way with words doesn\'t he?

Edit: Ha, a little humor in the archives...

is zeph the owner of the mercanary guild? i never knew that.

anyway, im not trying to abandon helmora, but if, by chance, we do crash and burn, i want to have a back up plan, just in case, but i would almost never betray a good friend.is it a sin to have a Plan B? (dont say \"no, but it is a sin to betray a friend,\" or anything along the lines of that) im not saying the hv is gonna suck, but fes kinda go off to a bad start with some people, and everyone was mad at him and i. so if people don\'t join becuse of that, i want to be able to go somewhere else just in case so im not betraying a friend(well, not really)

In a nutshell, Zeph founded the guild, but then betrayed it.  :O

So much for my nutshell approach...

Ok, Zephyrus founded the Mercenary Guild, but after having troubles with his life, he passed the leadership to Jaxan. Very soon after, however, we switched to our Council of Champions way of government. Zephyrus became a Legend, the very highest rank, though not on the council of Champions. Later, for unknown reasons, he apparently became sick of TMG and joined with Seppies Incencio Tenebrae.

And the Mercenary Guild does not have enemies, we get business from whomever we can. Enemies would obviously decrease our income  :))

He is still a very respected planeshifter, at least in my book. And no, we will not discriminate (sp?) against him, or anyone.

hah, funny. so no discriminated or preffered customers? i think you guys should include preffered customers, you will get more customers and stuff. if i had a mercanary guild, i would have preffered customers.

Yes, but if you had preferred customers, you wouldn\'t be truly neutral.  If there\'s one law Mercs live by (aside from \"money is good\"), it\'s \"NEUTRALITY ABOVE ALL\".

If you\'re not impartial, you\'re not staying true to your mercenary nature.  Gold is the only motivator.  Prove that you will follow the gold, and the jobs will come.  People have to see that they can buy you, and once it\'s done, a deal is a deal.  I don\'t think \"preferred customers\" would react well when they ended up on the other side of your army.  Hence, complete neutrality.

Yep. Besides, he didn\'t just dump us, he took the time to modify the website, etc. And he still stops by the forums. He\'s just your random evil guy now ;)

Besides, he\'s not an elf. That scores him some points.
I was cured, all right.

Now now Empanado, what have we learned about \"perfered customers\".
