Well, with guild wars not implemented yet, we don\'t have many major military assignments. But, occasionally, we get requests for... random things.

We don\'t have any set minimums or maximums for any job, as every job varies in time required, skill needed, recources, etc. And it doesn\'t look like that will change anytime soon.

I am a member of the Council, but remain inactive because I really don\'t see why I will benefit from this. Could you please sum up in a sentace or two what exactly you plan on doing in practice, in game, that will bring any benefit to its members, or the community for that matter.

This is a quote from you Icefalcon on the URPS thread..

Here is a quote on your thread.  Now, I believe this is a fair question, if you have no serious jobs at this time... then what is the point of a Merc Guild?  You have seen no benefits in the URPS because not everything is implemented yet, but Merc Guilds seem to have the same problem as of now.  It is what lies in the future correct?  Think of 9 or 10 guilds that would come to your guild first to give Merc missions.  It maybe looking forward quite a bit but I see potential in both.. do you agree?

Valbrandr, I\'m really surprised to see you, of all people, talking about URPS in someone else\'s thread. And besides, the Mercs do have usage. Emp draws pics. :D

Yes, we look forward for more work in future, however as of now there are still some requests avaible.

Maybe it is just me, but I don\'t see TMG as a source of money for myself, as much as a group of friends and a place to work with.

We (I?) have also made a guild movie not so long ago, so perhaps, it is a good time to publish it. It rests here...

Sorry, I just had to get my 2 cents in.

Emapanado is an amazing artist, if I were to recommend anybody to hire to make a sig it would be him.

Valbrandr, there is an obvious different between TMG and URPS. We are Mercenaries. We do what Mercs do.

URPS is an alliance, nothing more. The only benefits I have noticed are...

1) Members receive little discounts on goods from Bloodclaw, which is nice.

2) The guilds get some military help from URPS\'s militia during a guild war, which leads to the obvious question. What happens when two guild who are members of URPS go to war? Does URPS dish out troops evenly between the guilds and watch URPS troops slaughter URPS troops?

Now, I see your point, the game is early in development. URPS offers little benefits, TMG has little work. However, we have a clear goal on what we plan on accomplishing. What is this alliance going to accomplish?

TMG\'s goal can be summed up in this nice little statement.
\"We are here for you to hire.\"

What is URPS\'s goal?
\"We are a group of guilds that \'help each other out?\' \"

Is that the only reason for your existance? I\'m sorry for sounding rude or offensive, but your purpose is very vague.

Now, can we keep this off TMG\'s recruitment thread please? Feel free to PM me if you want to discuss it more.

I\'d like to remind everyone that we\'re currently accepting new recruits. Prerequisites are to be active both in-game and the forums, and to be a good RolePlayer.

By the way, check our General forums! We\'re showcasing the new sitcom: Mercs!
