Still no update eh?
« on: June 13, 2004, 10:01:27 am »
Well, my interest in PlaneShift is beginning to wan. It was well over a year ago when I first discovered it and there hasn\'t been one single update.

I guess I\'ll check back again in a few weeks... maybe.

Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

No updates... say what?

The news site is crawling of teasers!
A movie, a monster, coins etc etc.

And if that\'s not enough, go through the list Karyuu posted, you will see that you were very very wrong

I think he means updates in the game which we can actually use. (Aka, he wants cb asap like everyone else.)

Not necessarily! Yes its getting to be a long time to wait, my interest is slowly floating away but you know I am still here and still pushing in this community! I am sure we will rejoice once the update comes!

my only question is where\'s the mothly news update to the site. i\'m getting some withdrawl.

but i\'ve been cheaking the CVS text and your doing a good job. i\'ve noticed the shift from major updates to just rewoking somethings to take out the bugs. hopefully it wont be to much longer(crosses fingers, toes, legs, and arms) keep up the good work.

i checked the news page and it has an interview which does not tell us an approximate time to expect cb the only thing keeping me going is thinking about cb, watching the video of cb and jumoing outside the city. please tell us an expected date.

Even the devs dont know when CB will come out.
So stick to this - CB will come out when its ready.

Well, last time they gave us a date(December of \'03), they didn\'t quite make it as you can see, and a lot of people got mad for them missing the deadline. So, they don\'t want to go through that again(I am guessing; 95% true though I bet ;) ) and disappoint a lot of people. It is tough enough on the Devs as it is with them fighting through mobs of people screaming about CB, full-blast in there ears, and then they are still trying to work through it. Also, unlike me, they have a real life, and jobs. So, someone\'s gotta pay the internet bill right? :D And, well of course, the \"unecessary\" bills people have like TVs, Stereos, etc. when it is all on a comp. :D

Err, no release date cuz they don\'t wanna disappoint. No update cuz they are busy. Sorry for the unecessary ranting.

Funny I was just thinking this morning (when I did my ritual web, forum, CVS check) that it had been some time since the last ?progress update?. Are we, as rumor holds, mostly waiting on artwork? I?m more or less just getting tired of reading the interview again and again. Plus all the friends that I?ve told about PS have said they would wait for CB and, man, I?m getting all antsy in my pantsy to kill/heal my friends and enemies :)  :))  :]

We\'re also waiting on testing and bugfixes.  Squashing bugs takes a long time, and despite everyone here wanting to get their hands on it, a hideously buggy first release would look pretty bad..
