lol, that does bring up a point. Lots of guilds have good histories, but arn\'t intergrated with the ps history that much. (Not that there\'s much history to be intergrated with atm.) I\'m planning to rewrite The Cabal\'s history when cb is released, as I can merge it as much as possible with the updated history. Will be interesting to see how many guilds do the same.

If you think that our history has not much to do with the PS history, it\'s because you believe too much that PS is limited to a legend.
We were not born from the legendary times, but from the birth of the community itself. Our story begins with the coming of all the races of Yliakum and the gathering of good people from all over Hydlaa.
From what the gods gave us, we took the peace. And we are following our destiny in the present Molecular Blue age. In the next era of Yliakum (the long awaited Crystal Blue age), we will remain there and use our present strenght, the friendship that keeps us united and the power of light, to ensure that the legend will not become a nightmare.
The Citadel of Light Alliance will grow and provide shelter to good people. Even those who won\'t enjoy finding mirth in it, will have to admit that it\'s part of what the community has to offer.
It won\'t become a legend.
It will remain part of the reality of the PS world.

I too like Half-Pint have faith that they will do their very best to defend the good citizens of Yliakum as it is the very spirit of the Citadel of Light Alliance

Bleh.. That\'s a bit like asking why the evil guilds don\'t merge since they all have evil as their common goal

Evil guilds:
DE - the empire-like organisation
cabal - people who pretend to be true evil
IT - guild that is true evil
MM - guild that is about following some god-like thing or something

Good guilds:
Defenders - passive guild fighting evil
Champions - passive guild fighting evil

You call it passive, I call it common sense - It is somewhat quistionable if you claim to be lawful good and sort to violence without trying to solve the problem peacefully first.. Maybe that was why you ultimately chose to leave?

Common sense is something that the Defenders have in common with the Champions of Yliakum
And again Draklar, you are quite true - this is the exact same thing that most evil guilds lacks since they don\'t see the folly of evil

We have something in common that evil guilds do not -  but I cannot see why we should merge the two guilds just for that.. We have our differences and we like them the way they are

they just go around and slay evil whenever they see it
lawful - code of honor, law
good - intentions to help people

Some of the Champions were former members of Moorlocke\'s Flaming shield. When he broke that guild up, we offered out our hand to any others, but Demarthl and Van wanted to go their own way.

I can conclude that I have another definition of what lawful good is...  - and keep it at that
