----------------------POST THOUGHTS---------------------------
See the thing about this is that, its really early in the game and it would be hard to accomplish its mission. Anyways any thoughts on corporate dominiation in Planeshift?

Yes: Down with capitalism!

:P

I think you should add more info. You only say that it\'s a corporation that wants wealth (obvious from the title), and very broad info about the ranks.

How will you try to achieve this wealth? What\'s the philosophy behind this corporation? Is it heading in a monopolist way of crushing everyone in the way, or try to fit in? What will you specialize in (trade, production, services)?
There are more questions I can think of, but this is enough (atleast for now).

Well St. Nuke I was gonna get specific because I\'m not sure if it was a good idea at the time. Well the philosophy is the prelusion. That\'s our mission and what we believe in.

How we achieve this wealth?
There will always be a need of cheap items and weapons and by using that need of the people, we at The Hylon Corporation will fulfill that need for people who can\'t afford expensive items. As seeing were the only corporation in Yliakum now, that shouldn\'t be a problem.

Our general Destination?
Of course we have to keep in business, but we will never use monopolistic tactics against other guilds or companies. Pure competition is much better it only makes the bragging rights so much better.

Our specialization?
We specialize in hiring guilds for war, selling cheap commercial items, and leasing freelancers to guilds. And in time we may have a \"guild help program,\" to help those individuals who wants to start a guild the fundamentals of starting a guild.

Ranks: Only Offices of the executive have ranks that are already chosen and selected. Other branches are given the freedom to choose who they want as their leader, the choice you make is the choice we make.

::-Executive Sector Ranks-::
President - Decides all decisions. Does not offer employment directly

V.P - Successor to the President, aides in the President.

Recruiter/Employer - Hires people. He/She is the person who directly gives out employment interviews.

The Board - Composed of seven persons, all with executive level clearance. The Board reviews all decisions made by the President and V.P.

We at The Hylon Corporation only care about you the people of Yliakum, we wish you to be happy and wealthy.

Uhm. Isn\'t it a bit too... modern? Perhaps if you changed it to Noble, High Noble, etc. It would add more RP value. Also, wouldn\'t providing cheap weapons cause a depression where the result is weapons worth something like 5 Tria? :D

About the weapons: Cheap weapons will always be alot more common than expansive ones. Trading in cheap ones won\'t do anything bad besides providing the poorer characters with a weapon, and getting the sellers richer.
The problem will be if expansive weapons are more common than cheap ones, because then the expansive ones will be cheaper than the cheap ones. Newbies will be able to buy Doom Sword of Uberness but won\'t be able to buy simple daggers :P

About the titles: I partially agree. Since this is a fantasy game and not a medieval one, it doesn\'t really matter exactly when a certain title was \'invented\'. But I do agree that \'executive\' is going really far with this freedom. In the PS setting, it doesn\'t sound right that someone will be an \'executive\'.
