Building 0.2.010 Question
« on: June 26, 2004, 06:48:42 am »
Im sorry Im asking lots of questions but...
I got the 0.2.010 source by downloading:

PSV0.2.010-Cel_Snapshot.tar.bz2
PSV0.2.010-CS_Minimal_Snapshot.tar.bz2
PSV0.2.010.Snapshot.zip
planeshift-0.2.010FullSourceAndArt.tar.gz

Where do I extract and put everything, and after that what file do I open and then start to complie?

And does this include the server source?

I know I can get a newer source from the CVS but I wanna experiment with this version (yes i know 90% of the code is redone in the newer version).

*points at the mandate*

Sorry, this is the wrong place :P

Try acraig\'s build instructions for MB, or wait patiently for CB. (\"Any day now!\")

yes, use microsnarf Visual C++... Although it is a lot easier in my experience to build with linux. You should try it.

I dunno if you saw what I said, since you didn\'t acknowledge it, but this is the wrong forum. You will have better luck if you don\'t use the forums at all and just ask someone nicely on IRC to help.

IRC: If you don\'t know what this is... You need to come out of your cave more often.

Server: irc.quakenet.org
Channel: #planeshift
Be nice.
