Please: Help!
« on: June 29, 2004, 04:38:56 pm »
I already installed the game and did my caracther, but for some strange reason, when I try to connect, appears a box saying that the password is not correct and the game window disappears.

Well... I\'m 100% sure that the password is correct.

I tryed to name my caracther as F?nix but that nick was already beeing used by somebody, so I put Flame as name and the password, then I connected and it worked but some reason the game window disappeared.

Please help me, I don\'t know what to do... :-S

 Thanks in advance. :-)

After a failed attempt at registering a character name, you will usually need to close the game and try all over again (or you\'ll receive a Linkdead error, and, possibly a Database corruption on that name).

Note that special characters, for example \"?\", cannot be used. Spaces also cannot be used. Try to think of a unique name, as something like Flame is most likely already taken up. There are over 200,000 registered character names in the database, and although they arn\'t all used, they *do* all exist already.

When going through character creation, move quickly to avoid a Linkdead error. Stats and skills don\'t matter in MB as they are currently not implemented.

I suggest that you load up the game and try to log in with Flame + your password at the main screen. If you receive an error saying \"There is an error in the database of your account\", please refer to the revelant \"Important\" thread here in Technical Help. Using that you will need to delete the account and then recreate it, bearing in mind the points I have mentioned above.

Hope this helps. :) Post back if you have any more problems and we\'ll try to help you further.
