Confused

I have downloaded all the required parts and read the instructions:


1) Download from the list below the 5 Parts and the Reassembler.
2) Place all files in the same dir
3) Double-click on run_me_first.bat
4) Launch PSV0.2.010.exe

But i dont understand no 2, it says place all files in the same dir. But how do i put them all in the same directory?

Hmm.. didn\'t we have the same thread a while ago? *shrugs*
However... dir = directory = the location where you downloaded the files to. C:\\DOWNLOAD for example.

And when you launched the \"run_me_first.bat\" it generates the PSV0.2.010.exe in the same directory where you put the files. This is the installer which will install Planeshift on your computer. Double-click on it and... well.. it will install Planeshift

BTW: for how long are you using a computer?

So can you jsut download them all into my documents
and then double click on run me first and then they will all go together? Is that rite?

*nods* you can download them to whereever you want and run the run_me_first.bat. Just make sure you downloaded all parts and the reassembler before doing this.

EDIT: Oops.. I guess you posted right before me didn\'t ya?

Say you have in my documents, a folder called psclientfiles, as long as when you are in that folder you can see all five parts there and the reassembler, it should work...

As an aside, please choose a more descriptive title for the topic. It just makes it easier and more plesant to navigate these (slightly overfull, if I do say so myself) forums....
