Maps
« on: June 30, 2004, 07:55:28 pm »

This Place is Hydlaa Valley, outside of Hydlaa Plaza, it\'d be exciting because its like once you leave the small area of Hydlaa Plaza, the whole world is just boom right in front of you, the excitment of traveling area for the first doesn\'t last very long as we level up. I just thought one of the best experiences I had in an MMORPG is finally getting to see the real world that is outside.

Here\'s the Hydlaa Outskirts, this area is the last area of the Hydlaa Region, once you go further you\'ll enter the Kazabaloom Desert. This area is good for farming and has a small lake for fishing. Plus the Monsters would be a little stronger obviously they live in the desert which means they don\'t need as much to survive.

Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

Very good!

Some comments:
- What\'s the scale?
- Please use another file type: jpg makes it a bit blurry.
- On the first map the forest-color and land-color should be switched.

I can\'t say the scale cuz how don\'t know how big the caverns are. And yes I\'ll try to change the scale. I\'ll change the grass and forest colors on the next map.

Well you can use jpeg with the max compression quality , or a png file  ( i think png will still be bigger than jpeg with 100% quality )

Also , the ps world is suposed to be 100% undergroud , with only stuff like caverns and so
I did finaly found a work :))

Yeah, i wonder if there will be big seas or oceans. Mountains and rivers are probably ok since the levels are a lot espaced, but as all water will go on the two bottom levels, i doubt we will see oceans...

The setting site says something about rivers and lakes. But not seas and ocens. So far we know that there are 2 gigant lakes, one in the stalactite and one under the stalactite. I guess there wont be any seas or ocens.... its underground anyway. And so far it seems that there wont be any montains either.

Use GIF for pictures like these, dont compress it with MS paint though. Save it as BMP and then compress it with something like photoshop so you get less dithering.

Haa, using gifs is not a bad idee because there s very few colors, but using indexed colors in png , he should obtain approx the same results , without the 16 colors limitation

Rivers, lakes, and mountains could be formed on the upper levels, actually.

Looks like somebody only has MSPaint. :P

This is the way I see it. It\'s just like the regular world except just put a big cavern on top of everything.

Yes there will be oceans and rivers I assume, since what Androgos said, \"both lower levels will be flooded,\" and it also says on the main site.
