Ok, so you used the run_me_first.bat file and created the PS setup executable. You say that running this new file flashes up a command prompt screen, which then disappears instantly?
Are you sure you ran the new file, and not just the run_me_first file again? The new file should start the installation process.
If it doesn\'t, download the new run_me_first.bat file (found
HERE), aswell as the MD5 tool (found at the same link). Put them in the folder with all the other .part files etc. (You may be prompted to overwrite the old run_me_first file- click Yes or Overwrite).
Run the .bat, and it will tell you if any of your .part files are corrupt. If any are, re-download them and try again.
Keep doing this untill the .bat file successfully creates the setup file. Run the setup file and everything should now work.
Hope this helps
(And I hope this post turned out correctly... jeez, MoZilla sucks for using forum buttons like URL... *switches back to IE*)
[Edit for below: Ok. I guess everything is worth a try once.
