Hiya!
Thanks for the comments everybody, they\'re very welcome. It\'s always nice to see that someone has checked out your work, and even seen them as what they represent, not only as pictures. For that i thank you.
To Moogie: Thanks again, though i think now you\'re just trying to flatter me, i\'m not that good.

You know when i first got PS, i read many of your guides. Impressive work i must say. And you deserve thanks for your patience with newbies.
To Adeli: Nice that you like them. And I sincerely apologize if i have offended anyone, it has not been my intention. And true, the \'simple pencil drawings\' title may be a bit misleading, for these are the best that i can do. But still, if compared to real artists\' work, mine is pretty simple. Anyhow, i doubt that one can change the title after the thread is created.
Very observative! The Hyphers\' tail is indeed poorly suitable to kangaroo style consecutive jumping. I may have to change that to locust or frog style jumping.

To Smoak: You\'re right of course, the Aius Dog doesn\'t have the streamlined body of a feline. Felines typically catch their prey by outrunning them over short distances. Aius Dogs can\'t do this, so they\'ll have to rely more on surprise and ambush, to which their habitat (forest) is optimal for. Poor Aius, if you only were intelligent enough to hunt in packs!

To ArcaneFalcon: Very polite of you to ask; you may of course. It\'s basically a spine on two legs. I apologize for taking so long to answer.
To the_duke: Good tips! I agree that i have a lot to learn about human faces, especially the female ones. As the face and its impression plays most important part in human recognition, they should be drawn with skill. All the wrinkles, every hair has a story to tell!
I myself don\'t think too much about styles, i just draw. Of course the more time you\'re willing to sacrifice for a picture, the better it usually becomes. This may be one reason why one may see different styles here; some pics took 2 hours, some 2 minutes. In addition to the former, the line width and darkness certainly differs from pic to pic. Some of the pics were so small that i had to zoom them (-->broad line) and some were so big i had to make them smaller (-->thin line). Some pics also had to suffer brightness/contrast changes (--> light/dark lines). Just my speculation though. But the female faces are bad due to my lack of skill.
To Sea-Monkey: Good idea, i should have a pencil set somewhere in here... but i don\'t promise anything. I tend to use only the HB as it\'s the only pencil i carry around with me. Most of these pics are actually drawn while in a train.
To Emaib: Thank you

Maybe you have a good idea what i should draw next? I\'m actually growing little weary of these creatures. Maybe items, plants, trees, rocks, areas, effects, maps, cultures, suggestions... actually i have some ideas already, but the suggestions section is so full of suggestions that its making even a grown man cry.

To Mondo: Thanks for the encouragement. Although usually talent is just hard work!

To leji: I liked the butterfly idea too, that\'s something i\'d like to see in PS. They shouldn\'t be over used though. Drawing is fun! It\'s not only the result, but the working too is rewarding.
Are you refering to the name \'Cherppow\' [Tsch erp pou]? \'tis a good name, and it has a story on its own! But i often get confused for a girl. Admit it, more than half of you first thought i was a girl ...and the rest still do!

Sorry to disappoint you!
A little fanart then.

Pices Gaul - Scaly friends from the depths. This race of creatures lives well beyond the waterline, mostly habiting natural underwater caves and decorating them with esthetic shell houses. They\'re a little smaller than average human, but quite as intelligent. They form small underwater towns where they live in a very compassionate society. They have comprehensive understanding in magics, and have the knowledge to harness magic from crystals. These crystals are not only used as a light source in the dark caves; to encourage trade between different races, the Gaul sometimes create artificial breathable atmosphere bubbles for visitors to spend a night in. One of such bubble is located at Pices city of Juoi Meilef. It has been there for the last three years and has become quite a well known sight. This small \'underwater island\' has limited plant life too.

This is Ryc Avagan.

Gap Sylak - Lazy hairball from the fields. Gap Sylaks are common omnivores all around Yliakum. They eat pretty much what they can easily find; they don\'t spend much effort trying to catch something that runs away. At night Sylaks retreat to their underground tunnels for sleep, and don\'t wake up until well after noon. Lazy creatures as they are, Gap Sylaks hardly even fight back when attacked, they prefer curling themselves into a ball of hair. The hair of Sylak is very thick and each hair has small thorn like hooks on them. Should a predator take a bite, the hair would stick to its mouth and tongue, resulting in very unpleasant feeling. Not only this but the Gap Sylaks sweat and urinate through their skin, causing the hairs to smell and taste unbeliveably bad. Some locals have made up a saying \'slept with a sylak\' after having woken up from beside an unpleasant companion.

Hopar Dyge - Tripedal small wild pony. This creature lives on grassy open areas. Hopar Dyges move and live in small packs, eating grass and leaves with their long tongues. They tend to be tame to a certain extent, and may even eat from your hand. A pack of Dyges is easily identified from their cowlike moo-moo cries. The pitch is somewhat higher though. Some biologists are especially interested in this creatures\' special together grown back limb.

Swamp Slug - Slimy entity from near the swamps. Swamp slugs are larger and more agressive than common slugs. Greatest of them are known to have grown to about one meter long. The lack of weapons and teeth&claws significally reduce the threat they posess. A slug simply attacks by tossing itself at an enemy. The lack of bones greatly reduces any blunt weapon damage done to a slug. Swamp slugs require body of water to live, and they only exist near such.
That\'s all folks. Thanks for your interest!
Wait, i have something extra!

Cherppow - My friends impression of me. Hopefully i\'m not quite that broad.
