That said. What did I miss?

Hot-air balooning? Sounds like fun.

Anywho, new forum section and the guild story is underway, it\'s developing nicely so far.  Draklar apparently took my spoof of Auran seriously...

Sure I wasn\'t serious... besides the forests part... save the forests, people :|
But keep in mind that if you will ever mess nature with politics, me and my army of squirrels will be aiming our cones at you... well they will, I\'ll be using sword... of course :]
And no, that wasn\'t IC

Keep in mind that politics is both used to preserve and destroy.  Somewhere, politicians created the policies in place now that favor the environment.  Somewhere, politicians created the policies in place now that allow destruction of the environment.  I myself want massive public-education (the media would be the most effective method for this) about the environment promoting the ideals of conservation.  I think SUV\'s should be regulated, we need more emissions regulation for power-generation, etc...
That said, forests must be burned occasionally to prevent larger, more serious, outbreaks of wildfire.  Environmental resources are resources, they must be used responsibly, but it would be stupid of us not to take some advantage of them.

I think that says it.

Oh? And what does nature achieve by those actions? More time before it gets anihilated? It existed long before humanity, this short period of time it gains won\'t make any difference. All of that nature saving is only illusion, it can\'t be saved that way.
To get back on topic, rangers are bunch of people who live in harmony with nature, right? That\'s the only way to make it safe. I just hope that you won\'t step away from the nature, towards the civilisation :)

Just pointing out that wildfire stopping isn\'t always that good. Sure, it can save the cardhouses people build, but fires are Nature\'s way of cleaning up. It\'s like rain and sunshine, the aftermath of a fire allows for new life, new kind of environment to grow in.

Which site? The Seperot.com/rangers site or the Freewebs site?
Sep (to the best of my knowledge) built the site that he hosts.
The freewebs site was designed (origionally) by me but has a lot of Monketh stuff changed and added. It is pretty much a team effort on that one.

You are free to take the code.  HTML is open source.   ;)
The buttons I put together, the banner is X\'s.  You may not, of course, take those.
I can e-mail you the template page, if you like.

The best way to buld one is to but it togeter on your computer (using proper file structure) and FTP it to FreeWebs exactly as it is on your computer. Then all you have to do is remember to edit the link addresses and you are done. If you can not FTP or have to many files for Freewebs server then you should look at finding another host.
And the code that I made was documented, but it came mostly from a generator and well it can be done much cleaner in Java script and VB script than what the template is for ours. Unless you are refering to the tables those are super easy.

Is a good site to learn some coding from. I like it at least.

Ah...I am sorry.
PM me and I\'ll se what I can do to get you started. I can even give you a \'clean\' template. the same one I gave Monketh, only I\'ll go back and remove the unnesiscary bits (like in-line CSS) and that outdated crap that I had there before, and put in some better, clearer comments.
The tutorial link is more of an information rescource. You can figure out what FTP is and all that there. It might seem a little underwhelming at first, since we all know a lot of it this day and age, but they cover some really nesiscary/helpfull stuff that makes building and editing of web-documents super fast and more user friendly.
Like I said PM me so we stop filling up the recrutment thread. :)

I like it, of course, because it is very simple and plain.  It is very functional, and takes very little time to load.  I would very much appreciate a new site (with fancy scripts), but that can wait.
