Until, say, an RP-encouraging GM puts you in auto-accept duel mode for taunting people :)

Heh, if he\'s cursing and screaming all sorts of OOC junk at me, what\'s the rp in that?  If he doesn\'t rp, why would an rp-encouraging GM switch into auto-accept-duel?  I doubt there even is such a thing.

You really ought to just let the power-levelers get mocked for wasting their lives gaining increasing virtual numbers...

That was discussed, as far as I know it\'s not actually implemented (but hey, you never know).  Perhaps it\'ll be the taste of roleplay that people who play the game *solely* to \"gain lvls\" need :)

In Runescape, I once sought perfection, but I realized that it would lose it\'s glory (and obviously force me into being a member for more fun).  I became an anti-materialist monk and surprised everyone by roleplaying and telling them of their \"strange tounge\" and trying to convert them.  That was so funny.

Well anyways, my sideways point was that it\'s no fun to be a perfect fighter.  Sure, you can go out into a PK area and score some loot, but it is not fun when you already have everything.

Also, if everyone else role-plays one would feel left out, no?

Actually, the swearing => pvp mode

sounds like a really good idea to me :) I mean, in the Real World(TM) most fights start with someone being an arse to someone else ;) This would be a good way of doing it :) Maybe combine it with a whole system of that type of thing?

Ways of putting yourself in pvp mode:
- Swear (this one could be discussed, since not everybody thinks swearing is so amazingly naughty)
- Hitting another pc
- Setting oneself in pvp by gui (already in, I take it?)

More? :)
