Order Swordbr?den

Greetings all!

I am Dolnor Oncunnynge, a Squire of Merit belonging to the Order Swordbr?den (OSB).  OSB has members in many lands and I am a\'scouting this fair realm for the Order.  I have met many kind and helpful citizens which brings joy and excitement to my heart.  I shall be reporting to the Council of OSB my findings and they will decide if OSB will immigrate more members into these lands in the future.

Order Swordbr?den follows the historical German Order that invaded Baltic Europe around the 1200\'s.  They were named Orden Schwertbr?der, or the Order of Brothers of the Sword.  Currently, we would be considered the \'friendly\' version of the Swordbrothers.

Order Swordbr?den is an older online Roleplaying and gaming guild.  OSB is about 8 years old to date.  We currently have members in about 4 lands with the vast majority in Dark Ages of Camelot on the Guinevere server.  OSB was started by the current leader, Sir Sigimund, and his friends while they were in the SCA (Society for Creative Anachronism).  OSB was brought into the online worlds starting in a game called Illusia (which still exists).  OSB was heavily involved in the DAWN () roleplaying forums.  And in the early Adellion (still waiting for alpha testing) roleplaying forums before finding Dark Ages of Camelot.  OSB is NOT currently recruiting for Planeshift members as this is not yet a real game, but rather a pre-alpha demo of the technology.

I am the \'scout\' for the guild, looking for new lands to bring the guild into to participate in online-roleplaying and gaming.  I have experienced Planeshift about 3 days now and I can already see the potential of the system.  I have already experienced some fine examples of Roleplaying within the game.

I hope I can convince more members of OSB to make their presences known in Planeshift in the future.  I also hope I can convince the OSB Council that Planeshift will make a good home for a OSB outpost, once more of the game\'s mechanics and features are implimented.

IC: Many travellers have visited this land with similar intentions. Perhaps a few converts might be gleaned from this new presence.

Im from Latvia, so i officialy hate you!
I dont realy understand why you mention the original order, you dont seem to have much common with it if you call yourselves firendly. Such orders cant be good. They are made for destruction or protection... of land, not common people.
IMHO refering to RL isnt a good idea, this is fantasy.
Anyway, that has nothing to do with Planeshift. RL history -_-
