I agree, there should be certain places that are \'dezoned\' for building. BUT, I think there should also be places in cities that you can build.

indeed, maybe if you hire a npc or a player with that job, he can tell you if you may build there or not. This will be only in \'controlled\' area\'s.

Controlled area\'s may be area\'s that are under supervision of a goverment or something like that. It could be the same area\'s where you can not PvP.

In de uncontrolled area\'s you may build where you want (should be no problem if it is big enough), and PvP. You can say that uncontrolled area\'s are just anargy area\'s or something like that

Unless the guards are highly skilled, they will die and the house will be looted. The player comes back \"home\" and all his hard work has gone down the drain. I would rather have something like:
A player owns a house, he payed 50.000 tria for it (very small house). He didn\'t activate the last activity check, so the devs put the house avaible to purchase, a player pays, let\'s say, 40.000 tria for it. The old owner gets a ticket on his character for a warehouse were his goods will be stored since he lost the house. The money would go to him, so he would not suffer a big loss (because some people can stop playing for months and then come back), after all, he lost only 10.000 tria and his house instead of a house full of items.
This remembers me of some others game ideas, but these other ideas aren\'t relative to PS.

So true...

This is the way it should be done, no doubt.

Another option would include designing all the art for a building and contributing it to the devs.

I hope we get to build guild halls at least, and own property.  Ranger Mansion, it\'s been planned out, we even have a floor plan.
