changing characters
« on: August 10, 2004, 12:44:58 am »
I am wondering if a guild were to be started and a player, say the leader wants to change their character, will he have to do anything speacial to get the new character to be the leader of the guild or will he have to remake the whole guild?

ok im not sure about this but I think it can work like this
1. make new char
2. tell freind to goo on ur new char
3. promote new char to leader
4. remove old char
5. change pass so your friend cant go on it

this will only work if you can have two leaders

In MB:

/guildpromote CharacterName 9 (leader level)

In CB:

Use the guild manager, or do the same as above.

However, keep in mind your character needs to be in the guild before you can promote it.

I\'ve had problems with recruiting from those other than the founding character before...
