An size estimate for CB

I\'ve got a 28.8k internet connection (pity me. -.-), so downloading things takes me *forever*.  So would it be too much to ask what range of size CB is going to be?  An educated guess within 20-40 megs or so would be really nice.

my best bet for 56\'ers would be to get a download application that lets you pickup where you left off.

I use flashget myself.  It utilizes your bandwidth better than any other i\'ve tried.

the local university has cd buners. if u have a cd  drive u should be able to burn in your town (ie. internet cafes).
most computers fast enuf 2 play on have cd players....
but since nobody that plays too much will want to wait very long, if u dont have a cd drive:  burn a cd somewhere, either remove your hard drive and install it in a friends \'puter, or take ur equipment to their place and use a direct cable connection or lan.

I\'d go with 300mb at a min, 500mb at a max. Size will depend on what other stuff will be included (debugging symbols etc.) as well as actual game size.

vengeance didn t liked the idee , but if i can suggest it again, it would be to put eatch sector/zone into a different package and allow peps to download only the ones wich correspond to the zone they play in ( like in guild wars )  but maybe it s too complex to code , also it depends how the maps looks like.

Yeh, with torrents I can get about 450mbs in about 2 hours.  Lets just hope the speeds are good for torrent and direct.

800 mb, depending when i get around to downloading it will probally be released my night like last time... so there wont be much pressure on the servers right away.... half an hour easy for 800

I live in a town where the ONLY internet connection is 28.8k.   And I mean the ONLY one.  Y\'know that BS they say about broadband being available everywhere?  Well..it\'s...BS.   xD  And I know how a CD burner works.  Fact is, though, all of my friends live in the same fly speck town, so it\'s the same problem.  Maybe we can all d/l part of it and then combine the portions on one CD.  Yeh, that\'ll probably be what\'ll happen.
