Well i have a very fast connection. but i have a limit to how much i can download so that kinda sucks. thats why i also have a 52k connection and i download things over night. oh and Download Accelerator Plus is AWSOME! instead of downloading at 100kb/s it brings it up to like 500! on my fast connection of course.

I\'ve racked up over 2GB of download in a month on my crappy 56k connection :D DAP (Download Accelerator Plus) works wonders too, not only resumes, but speeds my connection up from a slow 2.3-2.5 kb/s to some of use at around 4.8-5.5kb/s.

When CB comes out, I\'m going to a mates place who has 1500 ADSL to download it. W00t!

A program can\'t make your max speed higher.

Download Accelerator simply searches a preset number of sites for the same file and downloads bit of the file from diffrent locations, i.e making HTTP very like a P2P network

Heh that\'s pretty smart (download accelerator thingy :D )...as long as it stay measured in MBs and GBs then I should be fine :D ....gotta stop downloading movies though, only have 20GB downloads per month...

I bet its around 150 - 250 mb and then, its too much for me .... i have 8 GB to download, not much ...

downloading free trials for commercial mmorpg\'s can be a pain.. as they\'re rarely less than a 1gb download.. 300-380 megs is nothing compared to that, so I\'d say you should be happy, rather than whine about it :P

Levels alone (without model data, sounds, music, textures for GUI, code, ...) is already more then 100Megs so the estimate of 300Mb will not be far off.

Hmm, for all you 56k\'ers I\'d also suggest to find an internet cafe or a university to to that at, or a friends house...That\'s what I do for my buddy, he buys himself dvd+r and cd-r sipindles, leaves them at my house, and when he wants something he mails me the link or asks me to look for it and i give it to him.

 I hope you have a nice person like me in your neighborhood :D

I\'m on a really slow dial up connection right now, but I just drove around untill I connected to someones high speed wireless router in their house and did the download from there. It saved me about ten hours, and is there an ETA on the next release?

Yeah there are Etas, the problem is that there are sooo many that it is hard to choose from :P
And the fact that they are all wrong (according to devs) doesn\'t help much either :P
