you guys shud check out rubies of eventide... http://www.eventide.net   its a free mmorpg that was pay to play but now is shareware, its fully 3d and runs on a brand new engine!

Uh, ok I\'ll bite. But you will get a full report, no an essay on how crapy it is if it sucks or lacks in the RPG elements department. :D

ive been playing for about a month now and just had to share, there is something like 100 classes and 6 races, also a few customisable classes as well,   the game plays very nicely, not too much lag for me, the server is constantly being updated with more hardware to reduce lag (lag is an issue) but its getting better, personnally i dont lag.  its basicly just as good as a pay per play medieval rpg, except that the world is only about 6 large zones. more zones are constantly being added and they never stop making them, so as long as people donate, the game will grow!!!  we need you to become a part of it!!

I played this game way way back in the closed beta, it sucked.

Though I bet it has changed a lot since then. :baby:

its awesome now, like i said it has VERY deep char creation, the only qualms i have are that the charr models are on the cartooney side, but they said there changing them soon, any good 3d artists are being hired!

there is about 40 spells for each school, and 6 schools, if im not mistaken, hundreds of different weapons of every tipe, and even more magical items

omg...I remember looking at that game when it was p2p. It looked sooo cool. Has it really gone f2p? That awesome!

Erm, Im having troubles qwith the download...I downloaded what I thought was the setup (SutupRubies095.exe.torrent) but its only 31kb and it has that wierd extention.

Edit: Nvm, I had to download BitTorrent first :P

I can\'t beleive I\'ve never heard of this! Years of searching mmorpg\'s  and I missed this gem.

Well, I remember when it was p2p when I was searching for a game. I even read through the FAQs and everything, but it was p2p...So I came to PS. 8)

OK this is me officially pissed that I cant download this thing without having Bittorrent. I don\'t want it, I dont like it, and I wont do it.
If they cant have normal download available maby, just maby, it is not worth it. I\'ll try one more time with my accelerators turned off but really. No com? carn
