I don't think that doing quests is the best idea when the server is so unstable as it is now. I do not even think that the game is playable when you must relogin every 5 minutes. The best you can do is to take one day break, enjoy your real life and try to play tomorrow when the server is hopefully more stable.

You can obtain the sword by creating a new character and doing Trasok's quests till you get the Ancient sword. But since Trasok keeps you the sword after completing the quest there is a chance that some another player has it. I have it by myself so I can borrow it to you for completing the quest. My character mane is Dejvi Dejf.

Ah, thanks. I was just surprised that there are so many glyphs, therefore so many combinations of them and so little spells.

It helped me too, it's just the wonderful idea to offer a mug of beer to NPCs  :P
