A very nice idea!  :thumbup: I have muted music since it made gameplay laggy. Now I can listen to the soundtrack from Itunes!  \\o// Songs are beautyful, some do not sound familiar though. But then... its been three years when I listened to the music while playing!

Now my Main Character has the same problem all of a sudden:

Other characters are still loading besides these two, so it cannot be a problem with graphics card etc.

But anyways: iMac 2,16 GHz

Cannot load the new PS version on my Windows 7 Notebook. Graphic card driver for my Nvidia Geforce card have been updated. Any suggestions on what to do would be greatly appreciated.

EDIT!! Never mind! Got it running, re-updated the driver again!
          It just takes ages to start the game up!

Hi!

I am experiencing problems with one of my Characters, Majiora. Since she received her entrance to Winch and got her flying pet, I cannot play her anymore. As soon as the map has finished loading I crash. I am not sure if the pet really has anything to do with it as my main Char has 3 pets and she runs perfectly.
Majiora also starts up on my Windows 7 Notebook, but not on my Mac.
A GM has already reset her position twice with no avail.

I'd love to send the crash report but it is too long to post it here in the forum.

Any solutions?

I do have a similar problem. I was sucessfully playing my Alt Majiora for the past days and completed some quests. Since this morning I am not able to log into her with my Mac. Client shuts down immediately after loading map. All my other chars are loading fine, but her. I tried the client on my notebook (Win 7) and Majiora loads perfectly. A GM has already moved her as well, with no success to loading on the Mac.

I was planning to post my console error report but was not able to do so since it apparently exceeds the max length of 40000 chars.

Any ideas?

I did try the updater on Mac this morning and it keeps on crashing the same way as the Windows version.  ???

Hi

Trying to run the update on my Vista Notebook. As soon as I click on the "Yes" when asked if I want to update, the launcher crashes.

I have the newest graphic card update, added the line to the .cfg file and the elves skin is selected.

Any ideas?

By the way, I do have the same problem on my iMAC. Cannot run the update, crashes continiously here too.

Hi

Downloading and replacing these maps worked on my iMac: http://planeshift.alphasys.nl
Sometimes its still pich black, depending in what area I start up the game. When I log out in good light in the forrest, it can happen that I will be "blind" in my next re-log. I usually handle it as part of RP. "Got struck by a curse" etc....... People are usually very kind to lead you out into the "light" (just out of the forrest for instance).
The darkness is a bit annoying sometimes, but with the lighter maps it is bearable.  ;)

Hi

Not sure what you mean by removing mods, maybe you could clarify that for others that might have the same problem. I did have mine fixed by eventually getting the updater to do its job.
Now I only need to copy the "maps against darkness" back so I can see in Yliakum :-)
