yeah right now there's a pretty large gap between skill training and roleplaying, well guess i should say the gap fluctuates at some points, getting narrower whenever someone decides to host an event, either market days (for crafters to show off their weapons/armor/food/etc) or combat tournements (pairing players within skill brackets).

the next obvious step would be to make more quests that are group oriented, or make mobs that require more than 1 person to kill (for example, giving maulberlords more HP or tougher skin that 1 max skill player would not be able to kill it before running out of mana a number of times) of course mobs like that would need give incentives to kill them so increase loot/tria/pp would be another obvious thing to work on.

this was back a number of years but i was on a MMO Beta testing kick, having beta'd Ragnarok Online's IRO client, then Lineage II and Dransik (later renamed Ashen Empires). wanted to find more and came across mpogd.com where i found PS listed, this was back during i'm pretty sure Molecular Blue.

it's getting there, one of the recent updates changed how spell effects were handled and i find they no longer create the massive lag spikes they used to, weather effects aren't as bad either and i'm using a 3 year old computer with a 3 year old ATI video card, so slowly but surely it's getting better.

only difference i can probably see there being between stonebreakers and hammerwielders would probably be facial markings(tattoos) or hair styles, but the actuall models for them wouldn't really be any different.

i've noticed a big difference in performance with this release, animations and loading times are much smoother (especially concerning spell casting) those who had moved the spell effects folder out of the PS folder should be able to put them back in and enjoy:P

my top 5:

1: the other crafts implimented, tailoring, herbalism, alchemy, mace(and other weapons) armors, etc
2: item tria-values tweaked, for example, why are maces and hammers so cheap compared to other weapons? also, and this may upset our resident miners/metallurgists, the value or ores should be lowered some, mostly to stimulate crafting as a viable tria maker instead of just hammering out bronze, at the moment you can get a little over 8000 tria per 300Q bronze stock, and for a not quite 10K tria for a 300Q steel sabre if sold to an npc, getting 10 stocks 300Q bronze is a hell of alot easier (as well as faster) than getting 10 300Q sabres.
3: have weapon/armor drops from mobs have varied Q (up to 150Q max maybe) instead of a flat 50Q, varied Q drops might elevate or lower the value players put on the items when they look at either buying or selling, and making the economy more dynamic.
4: terrain fixes, i've mentioned this in IRC before but i would like to see less clipping of textures while running out in the wilds, there are points where could be running through the ground instead of on top of the ground, invisible walls that stick out farther than they should (coming into BDroad1 from the forest there's one such wall just to the left, it could easily be backed off and made more flush with the gully wall that comes out of the forest)
5: magic effects that don't lag a person that can't even see them, what is up with that anyway, i could be on one side of the arena and a person on the other side lags me out by spamming magic, why is my client even trying to render something i don't see?

i'm sure there's more but thats my 5  :D
