ok... let me add one more little detail about the whole vampire thing... You don\'t die, then become one, You just get \'blooded\' and the vampire blood mixes with yours... so therefore... YOUR ALIVE. No re-encarnating, no death... just simple mixing blood. I have read the background history.. I\'ve read it 10 times to be exact (yea I know.. what can I say though, I get bored sometimes...) anyways... think about it... the story is still PRE-ALPHA that means that if we wanted to we could add on a ton of stuff to the story and no-body but the people playing right now would know the difference. And about your first statement Goland: Vampires aren\'t linked to hell or lost souls... You don\'t lose your soul, you don\'t lose anything... when you die you go to what they call a \'paradise\' which would be our \'heaven\' if you believe in that... Think about how Hitler was out to create a \'super race\' and he was succeeding for a while.. think of Vampires in that way but they have alot more MAJOR drawbacks... Ok well its 2:42a.m and I need to be going to sleep. I stated my case for the night, please don\'t close the thread yet cause there is more I would like to say tomorow...

How do you figure it can look nasty??

Player vs. Enviroment? exactly how do you want to explain this?

Ok. I haven\'t read all of the post on here but I\'m pretty sure nobody has brought up my ideas yet... Ok I think the whole vampire thing could add a nice element... But it should be put into a Clan (guild w/e you wanna call it). Here are some of the major points I\'m thinking of:

1)Vampires are not Immortal.
2)A stake through the heart will kill them, but so will a well placed bullet or a far drop. (they aren\'t invincable.. just harder to kill)
3)Holy Water, Garlic, and the whole \"can\'t enter without being invited\" is bull.
4)Vampires can be killed from sunlight, but it would take a few hours to really do damage.
5)There should be \"half-vampires\" they don\'t need as much blood, can walk around in the day and age a just a little slower than regular people.
6)Vampires are Faster, Stronger, have better sigth, can hold their breath longer, and have a very good hearing.
7)No fangs, only really strong teeth and tough nails.
8)they can\'t transform into bats. I mean Cmon... that would be like a Kran becoming a Pixie...
9)Vampires have a shadow, and can be seen in a mirror.
10)They can heal themselves faster than regular people.
11)They do not transform people by biting them... They cut the tips of their fingers with their nails and transfer their blood into someone elses vains, then back into their own.
12)they feed using the same method only not cutting themselves.

These ideas are from the books of the Cirque Du Freak series. They are just a few... I might post the rest later... send me a PM if you want the rest of the facts and \"vampire code\" from the book.
*edit*Atleast I put a somewhat original spin on the always unoriginal topic of Vampires... I could see this working a lot better in PS other than what other people are saying... Oh yea and forgot to mention that There is a place where vampires go ever so many years called \"Council\" it is like a holiday for them where they talk about the matters at hand, then Prove themselves to eachother through battle and other things like that. Then after about  a week they go back to their normal lives. And if you went around just turning people into vampires then you would be sent to the hall of death and dropped on the spikes over and over... Not to mention that the person has to know EVERYTHING there is about vampirism before they become one and must inform one of the higher powers that they have turned somebody else and they must pass a \"judgement\" to see if they are worthy.
