I think the new update requires OSX 10.3+ and you have 10.2.8.

Also try running the java updater that sometimes helps

*Sigh* Since I did not post my system specs I can see why I did not get any help

1.5 GHz Intel Core Solo Mac Mini
512 MB 667MHz DDR2 SDRAM
Version 10.4.8
and my GFX card is Intel GMA 950

Edit: Latest version, did not use Java updater

I have an annoying problem. I log into PS and I get into the world just fine. I can move my character and chat, but everytime I do an action (open a window, for example inventory) or cast a spell/mine for gold, my game quits! It does it every single time and it wasn't like that for the first bit of me playing on the new Mac release. Now it doesn't go away. I turned on the Vertex Buffer thing but that didn't help.

I have the exact same problem aswell, but not in the login screen, character screen, or loading screen. Just in-game windows (especially health, mana, and stamina window)

mine quits after the screen loads and I move around for a bit. Try running the java updater thingy and then report back

THANKS SO MUCH!!! But I'm having a bit of a problem. When I log in and see my character, it says "A new update is available!" in blue letters, is that normal? and I've noticed that it crashes a LOT, some guy tried to trade me and I accepted and I crashed. And I'm near the magic shop and I crashes within the first 5 minutes of play

It doesn't make your glyphs drop (since technically they weigh nothing), but if it is casted enough, if could make you drop the swords right out of your hands! Personally I think that it shouldn't be considered an "exploitable bug", because people should know better than to stand in the same spot while the other person is casting it. The spell is immediately interrupted as soon as the person moves.

so far, there is no way to get back to the main log-in screen without exiting the program itself. Maybe they'll develop something like that soon

Hello, I have a problem

My windows and interface are like, see-through and I'm not sure how to cure it. When I log in, I can't see the buttons at the top (and no, it's not that my HUD is out of place because when I rollover near the top, the words of the various buttons appear and when I click, the window pops up, it's just the buttons are invisible)

my windows are see-through, meaning they do not block the game. If I press "I" for inventory I just see a box with items and my character in the middle. The rest is not there. It's really hard to explain, and I'm not sure what to do. Also, the music is crackly and the Hydlaa plaza tune sounds like it's slowed down for some reason.

If it matters (even though it sort of shouldnt), I'm on a Mac running a windows emulator called "Crossovers", running the windows version of planeshift. Much help would be greatly appreciated!

Wow that application looks amazing! It doesn't even require a copy of XP. Although I am a little suspicious of it's content since it's still a beta

I downloaded that thing, downloaded the version of PS (.exe), ran it, and it works! Although there is a few problems, as expected. The interface is see-through so I can't see simple HUD, and windows are see through but the text is visible. and the music is sloooww. I hope it's okay to run and not dangerous or anything
