Ok how do you know when you can attack mobs or not, are there specific times or something, sometimes they fight back sometimes they dont and today i just entered the arena and none of the mobs can be attacked, how do you know when this stuff is going to happen.

yeh just reinstalled it to sort out the server locked problem causd by the update but ill try again possibly 3rd time lucky.

Ok uninstalled and deleted folder from program files before reinstalling but it still didnt work, but i decided to turn setting down to min and that did the trick, dont see why i can quad eq and ao with all settings maxed without lag, so should be able to play one version of this at default settings.
anyway thanks for the help appear to have it working now.

I had this problem before i got the new problem i have now,
1/ use the uninstall game in the start menu,
2/ go into program files and delete the crystalblue planeshift folder,
3/ reinstall the game but do NOT run the updater just start the game as soon as you have installed it.

Hi just downloaded the game created a new char tried to load the char and it crashes at about 15% with a runtime error
win xp home sp2
Amd athlon 3600+
2 gig mem
256 mb ati radeon 9600+
512k broadband
have all the latest drivers and dx
Ok had to edit this because it wont let me make another post syas i already posted in the last 60 seconds even though it was about 10 mins ago
just created another char to try it and it still crashes with a runtime error.

What are your system stats, have you checked for the latest drivers for graphics and dx, are you running a 64 bit processor ?

Hi this issue was brought up a few months ago and i was wondering if it had been resolved yet, so has the game been configured to run on a 64 bit system yet or do you still have to reconfigure your own system to get it to work.

dont understand any of that stuff, know enough to build up my own system but totally and uterly lost with anything like that even with the "detailed" walkthrough.

Nothing happens at all well at lest nothing at all i can see, but after a couple hours of nothing happening if i shut my system down it asks me to end task but it does not say what task. si it appears something has tried to happen.

« on: October 03, 2006, 04:31:47 pm » Ok downloaded the Planeshift_CBV0.3.016.exe installed the game and checked the box or rather left it checked to update, and nothing happened, so ran updater from start menu nothing happened, so tried the planeshift updater (recover mode) still nothing happens, tried running the planeshift techdemo and you guesed it nothing happens, reinstalled the program about 5 times tried everything i can think of and nothing.System:
Windows XP sp2 Home Edition
AMD Athlon 64bit 3600+
3 gig ddr mem
256 ddr radeon 9600 pro graphics
516kb broadband connection with approx 65kbs download speed
