I think parasites and similar cratures would implement a whole range of new and interesting possibilities. On the one hand, there would be the pure parasites as mentioned above. But there are more options. Think of creatures that give something for what they take: trading HP for mana, or sucking away a strength-point, but giving faster stamina recovery. Possibilities are limitless.

A question: Is it just my problem or is there something weird in the Avatar Selection Screen of the forums? My only option seems to be NOT having an avatar... And after all that editing of PS pics I had made such a nice one....

Technical Help: Problems BEFORE entering the game / Not quite that simple...

For me it doesn\'t seem to be quite that simple. You see, the thing is, I\'ve been playing PS for about, say, three months now, without a single problem. Then I acquired DSL. Then the fun was over.... I thought I could FINALLY play PS without having to worry about wasting a week\'s salary for one PS session, and now I appear to be deadlink! When the client doesn\'t crash immedeately trying to connect that is. I don\'t get it. Does the client configure itself for 56k when first connecting or something like that? Like I said, I haven\'t had a single problem before DSL. I don\'t have any firewalls, I don\'t run in XP, but in Me.
I really REALLY want to get back to the Plaza and find some crystals or something.... :(

Hi there I\'m relatively new to Planeshift, and totally new to the forums. Just thought I\'d say hi to the PS community... Here goes: Hi!

Oh jeah, there\'s another reason why I checked the forum: suddenly I appear to be linkdead? My client seems to crash since I got DSL.... Grrrrrr....
Finally, I thought, I can play PS without having to worry about needing to work a whole week for one session.... What\'s up with this? The few times my client doesn\'t crash he tells me I\'m linkdead and should visit the forums...
