In the first brief look I thought it\'s a one of those WWII propaganda posters, exact same style, really funny.
And Sashok, I\'m not sure about that. What about the anti-communistic propaganda in the US? It was (and still is) so strong, that many Americans truly believe that everything bad is communistic. Movies are still being made that have the US in bad relations with Russia due to the latter\'s communism even though the stories take place in late 1990 - early 21st century.
Movies are only fiction, true, but they do indicate about their audience, and they do cram stupid ideas into people\'s minds. When someone watches countless of movies that show American war heros that kill \'pinkos\', it does settle in their mind. When they see a movie that tells about how a nice old lady gets robbed in a peaceful American suburb and everyone say \"It must have been those damned communists!\", it does affect them.
This is a strictly one-sided political propaganda, and it\'s far from healthy, because even almost 15 years after the collapse of the Soviet Union (and probebly 20 since the last indirect fight between the two superpowers), people still believe that they have to be feared from communists.
Thankfully, someone finally realized that the \'anti-communistic\' propaganda is meaningless nowdays, and switched it to \'anti-terrorists\' propaganda. Wich is kinda funny considering that just 20 years ago there was a pro-terrorists propaganda by the US that asked Americans to donate to the ruthless Nicaraguan Contras. Don\'t tell me it was healthy and that no one got hurt from that one.
So like every other nation, the US got it\'s nice stock of one-sided political propaganda, wich can cause people the get hurt, and can be unhealthy.
Besides, advertising a political party is far from being political propaganda, even if it copies propaganda from the 40s.
