Only if the contents of the DB actually are of any interest to you. In this case, as a dev, I couldn\'t care less whether ppl. shred their chars by not checking what they enter. It can be seen as sanity check: a user who doesn\'t bother to input correct data will obviously not have read the warning, which means that these will be the exact kind of user that nobody wants anyway (you know, the \"what\'s linkdead\" kind

). If users don\'t think for themselves and always expect \"mommy admin\" to sort out the mess they create, out of sheer ignorance, then they have no place on PS. Sorry to be so blunt, but I\'d have left out any such checks
deliberately.
