Krayn, not to mention that you\'ll need MONEY for SERVERS and various other things, like a domain name and probably advertising. Not to mention that the MM part of the MMORPG stands for Massively Multiplayer, which can get rather expensive to deal with. If you really, really wanted you you could start off learing on/with something a bit less demanding on resources, like a MUD or something similar to help get you ideas into a testable world and establish a player base. I\'m actually reading a fascinating book on MU* in general. Its called \"Designing Virtual Worlds\" and it was written by the co-creator of one of the first MUDs (MUD1, and MUD2) Richard Bartle. I haven\'t gotten far into the book, I\'ll admit, but I would recommend reading this or one of the other books on this topic before beginning such an arduous project. I actually know someone who had their own ideas and wanted to create an MMORPG but so far they\'ve failed miserably.
