Unless they applied any patches, 2.3.4 seems to be good version of glibc,
I am using it on several machines and never had any sad surprises.

Maybe i can install it local i my home-dir and make i link so that just ps use it.

But i don\'t know how i do it.

I don\'t know if this is a good idea. Unfortunately with Debian there are
always problems with old software. :-(
