few ideas for planeshift

1 Town portal or teleport spell
2 A NPC that buy gold ore in the forest near magic shop
3 PETS (wolves,...) and flying pets like griffon, ...
4 A chest to stock our object
5 house guild (player buil house that can store players chests, possesion
6 Horse seller
7 Glyphs loots or hidden treasures.
8 More spwannig monsters point
9 Please, nearly only rat give loot or trias, may other monsters can loots to ?
10 : A map to orientate ourself( may be a competence to acquire), Putting waypoint, that player can follow automatically
11 More quest, (my quest log is bugged, i have done 2 quest, the quest log didnt so anything).
12. More Monsters(wolves, scorpions, bears).
13. Other places to dig (found only one in forest).
14. Armor skin implementation.
15 a market place where player can sell objet (sword, bucler, armor, magic or not) they made.
16 More beautiful ambiance music like the one we have in planeshift.
17 Boss monsters (Chaos butcher, Dragons, Giant, Big bears, Groups of monsters in quest to kill to protect hydlla road by night, ...) buy guid or monsters hunters.
18 Pets growning.
19 Objects building.
20 People buid structure outside of hydlla or inside too).
21 Event like VIKINGS raids, monsters raids.
22 One or Two other kingdoms in war and a peaceful one.
23 More commerce, trade.
24 All my wish for your good work, thanks a lots for all players.

1: most likely there will be no teleporting spells
2: I don\'t think someone who needs that would be hanging out in a forest.
3: patience... also don\'t expect to see wolves or griffons in PS.
4: patience...

6: patience... also no horses in PS
7: probably will be in place
8: how about after the world gets bigger?
9: if there is logic behind them having something to loot, most likely they will.
10: cartographer skill, but don\'t expect minimap or anything

16: most people like the music, you can also replace it with your own.

Really thanks for your answers, if i got other idea i\'ll post them here.

Just a suggestion, may it be disable trade when fight cause people ask you trading while you\'re fighting some monsters, and you die.

Making people invincible when they are trading isnt a good idea at all for me too.
I explain : People will \"take tea\" buy trading  when there is a lot of monsters\", while others dies, then they take loot and kill surviving monsters.
This wont be realistic at all.
A another idea, could there be mine, where people can dig, brut ressource that other playing can convert into useful ressource to build things.

Another idea for \"MAP\", lets player putting waypoints, that characters can follow automatically, because its long to travel to fight zone, or to come back to a place you come only one time (for newbie).
Other idea, an editor or monsters models or map for player who want to help you (i havent got competence in 3D, but maybe some have), they send you they creation, and if they\'re really in Planeshift spirit maybe you implement them into planeshift world, with their agrement.
Others ideas of raids : Chaos Legion, or a big boss to challenge winning only a reputation or else, same thing for player who help other (++ reputation or alignement).

Glyphs got so high price that it needs lots, i mean lots, of time to buy glypht. And treasures to find.

These are good ideas but people are already talking about them so please use search button and tell your point in there, and many of those things are probably going to come in to game, but patience like draklar said.. next time try that search, cause theres a thread or few posts about allmost everyone of those things

1. Another little idea, each guild, faction, politic group may have champion in each domain (fighter, wizard, digger,...). Some \"fight\", competition may be organised, and the winner will win reputation point for him or his guild (choose of player).

2. This reputation point may be useful to trade object cheaper from NPC like harnquist.

3. Those events may be organised inside each guild to promote champion in a specialisation (magic, fighter, miner, etc...), this will give reputation point for player in a competence. His object may have a bonus point  cause he is a specialist (like +1 or +2, ... damage for sword or else.

4. Guild may have emblem, blason on trousers, shield, armor to make difference between them (mean an emblem editor incorporated  in game (yes i know, not yet you got lot of works to do before ^^).

5. This reputation point may be trade with special object (like special armor with emblem of his guild, cap with emblem, autorisation to build a specialised house guild (wizard tower, ...). Like this only great guild may have
personnalised house guild.

1. Like it, there will be portals to places in Yliakum and portals to other dimentions and worlds and maybe (*prays) to the surface.
2. mmm... I don\'t agree with that... but it would be easier to mine that way :)
3. Think I saw pets mentioned somewhere... like Draklar said \"patience...\". Also don\'t expect regular stuff like Dragons, Griffons or even normal Earth fauna because the devs want a realistic and original game
4. Yeah, a chest would be good... and with the picklock possibility... I would like to go to my chest, open it, see it\'s empty and say \"Ah, damn you rogues and thugs! You shall pay for those things!\" and hire a detective to search for the thugs and then I\'ll make them pay for the things...
5. Yes there\'ll be houses and Guild Homes in the future. \"patience...\"
6. Horses? mmm... 3rd point
7. Yeah that would be great! Like group with some friends and go treasure hunt... About the glyphs, yeah good idea too. Also glyphs are found in nature, near a waterfall we might find the \"waterfall\" glyph, or after the rain we may find the \"Rain\" glyph.
8. \"patience...\" as you may know the game isn\'t finished, of course there\'ll be more monsters and monster spawns.
9. Hope so, I\'m tired of killing rogues and thugs with weapons and we can\'t loot the weapon they are using... also the clackers... I look at them and think \"mmm... nice shield they would give\"
10. There won\'t be those minmaps, but I think there will be maps that you can check and all that, but don\'t expect the \"You are here\" point.
11. Again, like in point 8, the game isn\'t finished, most quests aren\'t aquired by saying \"Do you need help?\" or \"I would like a quest\". I think most of them will be aquired by talking to NPCs... btw Durok will give a quest about the Shadow Moth, it\'s not implemented yet :(

22. Kindoms? The cities are very large, look at Ojaveda, it is (will be) so big! There may be cities in war. The Ylians and the Enkidukais share the same level and they fight (or at least they did) for territory and fields. There is (will be) an Ylian vilage near Ojaveda ;)
23. More comerce and trade? You mean by players? \"patience...\". PS comerce will be mainly made by players in the future.

mmm... I\'m not quite sure about that Draklar since GMs can telepor themselves to somewhere... Players could do the same: enter the coordinates, who to teletransport and cast the spell. The more distant the place is and the more heavy the object/player is, the more mana is required. er... what about teacher, journalist, trader and builder guilds? The \"contest\"  will be who teaches/reports stuff/makes more money/makes better houses?
It\'s a good idea but some guild would be left out...
The guilds will earn reputation by working everyday, because the reputation is about players respect and/or like the guild.
\"Remember the guild that made the great house of my brother? Maybe I\'ll pay them too to make mine\" or \"I like the X traders, they sell high quality things and cheaper than the Y traders\" or even \"I like that newspaper best because it reports more stuff and is more honest\" or \"Those mercs do a cleaner and more complete job than those, I\'ll hire them\"

And about the \"buy things cheaper\" tihngy, I think there should be a \"Persuasion\" skill. That skill + Mental Stats, would convince the NPCs to sell the stuffmuch cheaper, the prices could even reach... er... 50 or 60%? It would be a very usefull skill for traders. I thought up on this skill because I don\'t think there\'ll be limits on the skills and there won\'t be the \"profession\" like things. Although this would lead to \"Super-Hero\" like chars, it wouldn\'t matter, they worked very hard to be like that, and if they are a \"bad\" person, there will be also the \"Super-Hero\" like chars in the \"good\" or \"lawfull\" alignements to balance... but, hey, every world needs \"bad\" guys.
We may even experience a tirany from a \"super-hero\" guy in Politics, may turn the ruling system upside down, and won\'t be Vigesimi and Octarcs (or whatever it\'s spelled), it would creat civil wars and all that! MUHUHAHA... Ok I\'m going to far...

The devs want the game to be realistic. Yliakum will be ruled by players, comerce will be made by players also...

I think that was already mentioned in a thread, I think it would be a great idea, but it would make even more work to the devs, so I think it can\'t be made...

There are a few things I would like:
1. A more extensive combat and magic system.
2. Class choosing: Fighter, Magician, Healer, etc.
3. Ability to have a guild Headquarters where your guild could stay at, rest at, buy and sell items, and organize raids (attacks) on enemy guilds.
4. Mounts would be so cool.
5. Of course: More quests, monsters, NPCs, areas, spells, items, and mining areas.

I have a lot of other suggestions but I don\'t want to type them all down ;)

The thing i\'d love most to see in PS would be real mines  inside mountains. built by some hammerwielders or dwarves. Which has railtracks and we go inside them to mine different ores. Another huge region.

But that\'ll surely require a great map builder(artist) :(

I think more spawn spots especially with monsters dropping loot are urgently needed... \"Heros\" queueing up to kill rats in turn are a very sag sight...
