Having jobs is pretty important. They will give players a little bit of extra money to help a player buys stuff. They also will help a more player based government/economy.
Each job will have different advantages and pay. For instance, a teacher may get +5 int. +5 wisdom, and +1 in each way of magic and start off with a glyph. They would get like 5 trias per hour.
A miner would get + 5 str +4 mining and a pickaxe. For money, they would be able to sell ore (iron, coal, gold, platinum, etc.) for twice as much as normal to NPC\'s.
*(keep in mind these are just examples. Actual numbers could be different)
There would be 2 types of jobs: online jobs and offline jobs. a player could only have one job.
Online jobs would be jobs where players need to be online to do. Once a player is online, he or she will automatically begin getting hours for the job. He or she would get paid per hour online in this case.
An example of this would be City Guards, Miners, Healers, or Trainers.
Offline jobs would be jobs where when a player goes offline, their hours would start count. They would get paid per hour offline.
An example of this would be teachers, blacksmiths, bar tender, etc.
So, what do you guys think?
----P.S. I also said how city guards could work in my other post on \'\'player governments/thief skills/other stuff\'\' on the wishlist forum----
