i like that you try to optimize planeshift as game itself and especially the world/story around planeshift. but i think something is missing or wrong concering the skill/xp system.
in a lot of other posts i read about every little detail the community expects from PS, but i think the skill system needs to be more improved.
ok my thinking: you gain xp and points from e.g. killing monsters but you can use this (battle gained) points to gain a higher level in a skill that has not to do anything with battle/fighting?
that does not make any sense to me and i think there is no logical way to explain this situation.
in my opinion there should be a progression of xp for every skill (no, this is not impossible, look at morrowind) and so you can gain xp and practise only the skill you used.
fighting for learning to read is an unlogical example as well.
