server down again?

I was playing earlier today then stopped to make a run somewhere. when i got back home i tried to log back on but message said server was not able to be contacted. I looked in the forums here but no one else posted any problems yet. am i the first to post or the only person with a problem.

i have the same problem but i was playing and it said the server was lost and it has been about an hour it said it would take five min i am just wondering when it will be back up

just downloaded PS and tryd everything tu run it..

yeah, i got up today and tried to log in, and where it usually says the # ofgf ppl on the server, it says \"Fail\"

Hi, could a game master or something pls explain why server is down and why I get diagnostic errors and then after that it\'s a terminate program error its really annoying and should be fixed everytime I play planeshift I usually have to keep restarting the program untill it acctually loads my character right.. and it takes about 3-6 times..

I seem to have a similar arbitrary server problem, I updated it to about 57% when it just stopped, so I quit the updater and after that (When I used the updater later on) it no longer updated, in fact when I can\'t even connect to laanx, I get a gateway timeout or a 504 (When using a browser).

I am hoping that it might mean they are working on the next update hehe. That is often why the server goes down

usually there are two reasons for the server going down for a longer than usual time:

1) they are working on an update

or..

2) something unexpected happened and they are trying to figure it out...

unfortunately both require patience, so might as well post a useless reply such as this one :)

Seems like network problems, no need to raise a big clamour over this issue,
so just calm down and wait until admins solve the problem, I believe they
surely wont hide it from you all when this happens.

yes actually so am I .. worked fine this morning then shut down.. it\'s been like 5 hours.. can\'t even access the website..  it does however give one the opportunity to read old posts and get more aquired to the land.. and it\'s history.  Hopefully nothing horrible has happened to the DM\'s.. I pray for a large update.. or just a sign from those in charge that they are safe and will land us on safe shores again soon.
