Spanish translation
« on: September 07, 2005, 08:57:13 pm »
Hi!

We want to translate PS to our language, however we don\'t know what files must be translated. I saw Osy\'s web but many files do not exist (I suppouse it was on old versions).

Your help, please send us to lamesh-at-gmail.com.

Thanks

Just a reminder that even in ps is in other languages you are still expected to speak english in public channels.

Bad suggestion if you want to access to more than 600 million people ... it\'\'d be easier if you learn spanish :-DDD.
We only want to translate the gui, help and similar, no more :) (yet, lol) .

Thanks

Yes, I\'m well aware of that as I\'m not a native speaker myself.

yayoo: stay on topic.

Inwe: First, this project would be a huge undertaking and would take a very large amount of work. Second, Spanish (and other languages) will not be permitted in public chat (as has been mentioned). Therefore, unless you can speak English, you can\'t role-play with those around you and therefore there\'s no point for you to play the game. So, as odd2k said, learn English. Or don\'t play.

because when there are enough in game speaking spanish, then they get by without english to other people.  Same way it works in real life. So, with the GUI and maybe guide translated, no english needed.
