Recovery mode can be loaded by clicking the link named \"updater (recover mode)\" in the start menu. Who would\'a thought?....

If somehow you don\'t have one, stick a -auto onto the end of the updater\'s command. All this \"recovery mode\" does, is put it into text mode.
Putting the correct vfs.dll in WILL fix this issue. If you still crash something for one reason or another, it\'s a separate problem. If your setup is crashing, try editing pssetup.cfg in notepad or your favorite text editor. Stick a semicolon ( ; ) in front of every line with the word \"sound\" in it, save, and try to load it again. (you\'ll still need a working vfs.dll, first)
