If nothing will change, we will have hell in Yliakum and die bored to death. So i want changes, like Zanzibar

something to do

mmmm i agree that there is nothing to do apart from beating up on a monster that is not tough enough to kill you but gives anough loot to make it worth ur time.

needs purpose, perhaps each guild could have a town on their own :) and their purpose could be to take over the world ... (sounds childish but better than leveling up, and listening to people telling you how many ulbernauts they can kill in 30 secs).

maybe a penalty of some sort on dying could be implemented, random skill point loss (ie u lose some memories when u die).

while removing PK restrictions would suck for new players, it could be a job of the \"good guild\" to help them out, or remove the\"evil PK\'s\"

...
and pls pls change the combat system (reduce the dmg, and get rid off the overpowered weapons)

i mean basic wpn = 1.5-4dmg, then u find a sword that does 100 slash ... i mean its pretty silly..(its like finding a +100 swd in dnd)

i tihnk finding a weapon that does 2 times the base dmg should be amazing.. rest is ur skill.

it would stop monsters having 250,000 hp\'s too.

Cheers

HE right some weapons are to uber, but to sill up costs to much, they would have to make it cheaper, instead of taking over the world maybe quests i know some guilds do them but maybe their should be actual built in game quests, that would make it more fun and some of the eaiser ones could help teach n00bs and get them a little train to get them started.  aslo my guild all ready has permission to have our own town, i think all guil;ds are alowed it but you have to dessign and make it your self.

Oh you guys :| Seriously. Quests are always on the dev team\'s To-Do List, and GMs always try to run a few quests themselves, too. Crafting will soon be available to players, and more noncombat skills will follow. Just give it time - you certainly cannot expect a pre-alpha tech demo to have everything at once.

Lots of interesting points... shan\'t regurge them, but how about creating your own quests, ensuring you stick to the history of the lands and let others get involved...  even read up on others stories and let them slip into your games - so long as you don\'t try and alter their story.. but say, just mention it in your RP.

This place is just soooooo great for letting your imagination run wilde....

And give it a chance - for a free game that is developed by people who give up their time for us to have such enjoyment... well... what can we say YAAY FOR THE DEVS.

Balancing comes after features and content. That means \"much later\". Balancing includes combat rules, weapon damage, progression points and exp, things like that. Those are important to players, but not considered \"high priority\" for development. As Talad explains, implementing features and completing the game first is very important. If we balanced everything fairly every time we added something new, we\'d take twice as long to get the game finished. Instead, we leave it untill several major new aspects of the game have been added to reduce the amount of time we need to spend on balancing.

As you can probably guess, this is also why several character wipes will be inevitable in the future.

Alright, here\'s a list of a few of the most recent things I\'ve observed.

I noticed that running suddenly lost it\'s animation, and caused players to have a lay-flat animation to other clients. Instead of simply restoring the animation, they delete running completely, and make it into a slightly faster walk. Why? It would have been much easier to find out what deleted the run animation and restore it, not delete it.

Next, I noticed that weather is being used much more often. It is known that weather causes huge lags, a lot of clients to crash, and server problems, so why do they keep doing it? I know that it\'s probably to test weather, but wouldn\'t it be easier to do this on a small area secluded so players can\'t experience the lag it causes? I know that Podium, or some other areas, such as the \"stash room\" as I call it, are open for weather testing.

Now, heres the thing that I hate the most. Energy. It\'s true, I have been begging for GM-only glyphs to be released to players, but not in a bugged quest. How can it be messed up so bad, as to actually give you Energy glyphs, to give to Brado? I mean, this couldn\'t have been done on accident, the word, \"Energy\" is much harder to type then \"Mug\" by accident. Also, not only does it give the glyph, but for the quest to really not make sense, is the fact that even if it was released on purpose, accident, etc., Brado does not accept them. Even Jirosh says \"these\" when telling you to give Brado the mugs, I believe, but instead he gives you an Energy glyph.

I know I\'m sounding a bit rude, but some things are so obvious, and so easy to fix (possibly), that it seems like these things are being done on purpose, to test our observation skills.

1.) run: run is not disabled as you CAN still run .. but as you mentioned above .. you wished a previous solution while still searching the bug! So I guess that it is!

2.) Sometimes you only might find a bug if you can check it while running .. so you have to debug and test changes you made .. so it won\'t help to disable rain, etc.!

3.) Be happy to have that Glyph even on a little bugged quest .. and the quest thing at all .. Devs try hard to implement quests to PS, to give it far more fun on testing the game. So the main thing Devs is looking for is more to clear the bad graphic/game bugs instead of focusing on quests. Anyhow I think to give a usefull Glyph to the Players on a quest will make quests itself again more interesting!

4.) It\'s aint such easy as it sometimes seems to be to fix a bug. Even that as said above the devs took hard on looking for the real bad bugs instead on little glitches that Brado don\'t want the Glyph. So even that it seems to be fixed meanwhile!
