Haha! That\'s a good joke. ;) The spies will hardly ever say \"Hello! I\'m a spy, please destroy me and my fellow spies.\"
I mean, you (or anybody else, except the spies themselves) hardly knows who in your guild (or in any other guild) really is a spy, cause spies will always try to be not detected by the members of the guild they infiltrate. So how can we fight or even destroy them, if we don\'t know who to fight against? ;)

And I don\'t understand all this sudden fuss about spies now, just because someone said he knows there are spies in some guilds; I could have told you that, too, if you asked me. There probably have always been spies in some guilds (maybe even in your guild, you just might not know it), but people did not react like \"Oh no! Evil spies, let\'s destroy them!\".
By the way: if you know that there are spies in your guild or that there could be spies in your guild, don\'t post in the public forums and announce that you will destroy them. ;) Do it behind the scenes, so the spies will not realize what\'s going on until it is too late for them.

Knowledge is power, if you know how to apply it.

Yes, and note the fact that I never stated that thought before then when I said \"I still think\". I was being sarcastic. I am not an idiot and I know that it isn\'t even a rational idea. BTW, Keyaz, you didn\'t confuse me, so does that mean it isn\'t good? Oh well... Either way, this is still a good RP situation, especially the idea of an espionage war...

A warning. Please take further one-on-one quarrels to PMs. Keep thread on-topic.
Judge: Are you trying to show contempt for this court, Mr Smith?
Smith: No, My Lord. I am attempting to conceal it.

Or any other good guild for that matter.. I mean, sure it makes you uneasy and angry, but lets face it, WHO CARES?! :D What sensitive info can spies reveal to their guild that could hurt.. Guilds aren\'t complex enough (Well.. not enough tools thats one) to have secrets yet, and theres nothing inside that can really damage things when it gets out yet..

Actually we are aware of spies in our guild, and we do know who a few of them are. But we don\'t kick them out or anything, cause they don\'t do any harm (so far).

Oh and btw tCoY is The Community of Vaalnor. Come on now.. :P

Heh heh, I agree.  There isn\'t that much to be gained by actual spying, because a lot of the more juicy pieces of dialogue are only accessible by the leadership of the guild.  You can still get interesting things though.

But tCoY can\'t be The Community of Vaalnor :p.  Y versus V.

Edit:  Sorry Karyuu, I didn\'t see your post until after posting this.  I feel that I have the right to respond to Zayek\'s harsh words when they\'re posted in a public forum.  If you want me to take this section out of my post then PM me and I will do so.

Edited to save time ;) tCoY - The Champions of Yliakum, by the way.

Ha, its so much fun to watch the ignorant people flap and run around when they gather a glimpse of what is actually happening... Kenti, I expected better of you, Though on reflection im not really sure why, since you\'ve never been inclined to show more intelligence than this.
Tempting as it is to Delight in amazing people with my knowledge of this subject, I will keep my mouth shut to protect the secrets of those involved.  Though, honestly I havnt made much effort to keep up with this recently, and you could be referring to more people that I am unaware of.  Either way, meh.

Hmm, I doubt these so called spies can actually do any damage or that they intended to do so by actually spying.  They let information about themselves out meaning that they are either stupid and are no threat or because they wish to cause their damage through suspicion and doubt which will not cause any harm unless you heed them.

Ignore them and relax; drink a lemonade and enjoy the antics of such as them 8)

Actually, it\'s a lose-lose situation.  If you react, then you appear vulnerable and reactionary, if only to some.  If you do not react, then you appear arrogant and complacent, if only to some.

Indeed, it\'s a lose-lose situation. However what is lost is nothing but irrelevant - dispensable items, weak minded members, the snide of the short sighted.

I encountered the same person 20mins before Mitaki.

It was... intresting to say the least.

You know, Narcal was telling me that Yanshu might have been Aluna. And Aluna is the sister (or whatever relative) to you and Embers...Just a thought, but that raises a suspicion on my part

Thanks, I still don\'t know if I want to do it or not...I might just go solo, since the guild was a mess the last time around. No one actually shares my point of view, so its impossible to gather members to fit the Guild\'s plot, I had to get PLers and OOCers :P

You worry to much about spies, let them come and collect an pass the information. Though when swords clash and arrows fly no matter how much information was stolen the righteous will come out victorious.

Indeed, information may be important, but it can\'t win battles alone. Well, unless the information stolen is about war tatics. Even then, it would depend greatly on the cunning of those who acquired the information.
