Actually, never played Warcraft til after I created Farren :) Farren was actually inspired by Drizzt Do'Urden, and also a character I used to use in the old AOL RP chatrooms Red Dragon Inn and Forest. Also on many other small things, but mainly those. The armor was invented while drawing in Geology (see page two, second drawing, right under the bug). I then reinvented it with the first official drawing of Farren (also on that page, after the lizardman thing). Some aspects of his fighting were based on Bruce Lee, adapted to short swords.

Heh. Well, unfortunately, I suck at texturing (though I think I might try drawing the textures by hand, scanning, then coloring in photoshop) and don't know how to model with any program other than 3Ds Max. I haven't a clue how to import that, or do UV mapping either. If drawing concepts for armor were job, I might consider, but they already have other much more skilled artists for that, Gentar and Karyuu being the foremost in my mind. :) But thanks for the compliments.

EDIT:

Also, cleaned up that last image with a brightness/contrast touchup

I have some really good news and some very annoying news :/

The good news is, I got a scanner of my own, meaning less waiting time for drawings to be posted.

The annoying news is that the site that has the drivers to make it work is having problems with its download server :'(

So... No -working- scanner yet.

- Rilos Kyntr -

Evil half demon half dragon guy named Agonst Dralyn:

Farren all dressed up and neat-like -- Not a good look for him really, and the drawing isn't too great:

Pre-Ranger Farren - Jokester of Guild Knights under the Zaknafein or some such, it was a character from a book and when I started caring about rules I got it changed:

Love the idea of the first guy.The half dragon buddy has real nice wings.Something i always mess up at drawing. The neat Farren lacks your usual detail and charm. As for the third one cant realy say anything. Not to bad but not as good as the others.
