To get it out of the way: zanzibar, while your posts are interesting and provide a good challenge to get at the meaning, I personally think you are excluding those who don\'t have the time or the care to figure out your meaning. These people could still make thoughtful contributions to the discussion, but not when they don\'t understand what it is about.
As for the topic at hand, the conversation in a general sense isn\'t bad. In a specific sense, the role-play is pretty cruddy: first, it wouldn\'t be public. No one would have a discussion like this in public. Second, the language, while very flowery, isn\'t what I\'d like to see in Planeshift. It is too formal, too stiff to feel \"normal.\" Little medieval colorings (\"Thy,\" \'Tis,\" etc) are fine, but that dialogue was too far out of the normal range, more in the structure than the vocabulary. No one talks like that.
