Now when it loads it says something like \"timeout waiting for world to load\". what does that mean?

Don\'t panic.
That means that your client isn\'t fully updated.
Follow this instructions: Start-All programs-planeshift-planeshift updater (recover mode)
that should launch the updating process, after it has finished completely you\'ll be able, hopefully, to play the game.

Alrighty. Thats done and it worked. but I still get the error that starts with 5ED3E6B2 before it finishes loading. I got the .dmp file in my folder, but I can\'t open it. Do I need some kind of thing to load it? Or do I just have to use the site when it gets back up? (I updated twice already, the sound is off, its on 32 bit, the resolution is on the 1,000 one, the Vertex Buffer is off, and the quality/ speed options are the lowest they can go)

Ensure you meet this requirements:
Minimum Requirements:

    * Windows 98, ME, 2000 or XP, Mac OS X 10.2.6, Linux, FreeBSD or Solaris
    * GeForce 2 or higher 3D graphics card
    * 1 Ghz CPU
    * 512 MB RAM
    * 1 GB free disk space
    * 56k modem Internet connection

Recommended Requirements:

    * Windows XP, Mac OS X 10.2.6, Linux or FreeBSD
    * GeForce 4 or higher 3D graphics card
    * 2 Ghz CPU
    * 1 GB RAM
    * 1 GB free disk space
    * Broadband Internet connection

Also, updating your graphic card driver could help, I don\'t remember if some solution it was found to 5ed3e6b2 but it\'s been around for a while.
As for the dmp file, I think you should be able to open it if you had a debugger program, and it would point you out the exact line of the code where the program crashed.

* 384 MB of RAM
* over 60 GB of free disk space
* Roadrunner DSL
* Nvidia graphics card

Can you tell me what debugger programs there are?

With those specs you should be able to play, I think, not with perfect performance, but, hey, who has perfect performance with this game? ;)
I\'d try updating the graph. drivers you can find them at http://www.nvidia.com , you didn\'t provide the exact card you have, only the company that built it (nvidia) but they make drivers that are ready to update a huge list of different cards, so perhaps yours is admited.

As for debugger programs, well they\'re programs that programmers use, they allow you to compile your code, and debug it executing it step by step or allowing you to understand those core files that are created. You don\'t need to have any of them in order to play.

If you\'re on Windows, right-click anywhere on the desktop and look at (Display) Properties. Wander over to the Settings tab, and look under \"Display.\" Your exact graphics card driver should be shown.
