Hmm... position \"God\" was taken by Sangwa already in this thread and he made at least a reason that could make sense in a twisted way.....

@Cyrus: I was so close... I said it like \"sigh-rus\" :P

meh, all yous Westerners with your spellings and pronounciations... Back here, we have a \"read as it has been written\" rule, without any modifications.
But that don\'t apply to my name, no.

Shooree= the \"Shoo\" is just like the exclamation you use for shooing that pesky cat, and the accented \"ree\" is like in \"REhab\".

@Jjairr: :O you just destroyed a  boy\'s world, young lady! I thought I was good with linguistics... :(

There\'s but one god, Cador\'is. And that\'s me, the monkey god everyone worships.

Here\'s how you mortals must pronounce my glorious name:

Moon-key Gau-d
Moon as in... the moon;
Key, like the the thing most people use to open locks;
Gau as in the Final Fantasy 3 (or 6) character;
D as in Dohmygodsangwaowns.

or

Cq-ktr-xg
As in, \"I\'m bored and have little to do before going off to school.\"

Hi

Cherppow: ts - erpp - ow

Speaking of Scandinavian pronunciation: (ogg codec) :)
Fiction: Hydlaa\'s dedicated town crier retired recently, and the new replacement hasn\'t yet learned the local dialect. Few citizens are being called, hopefully they can recognize themselves. (Sorry for using forum names for some of you)

@ JJairr I always pronounced it ShShaire with the Sh as in the french J :)
Hokinon Korere
Wandering Yliakum searching for lost memories...

Zinnius Zann

Goland McCray

Gall (With a hard G, rhymes with mall or all)
Lend (Rhymes with bend and tend)
Mick (Rhymes with Lick and Pick)
Cray (Sounds like the first syllable of crayon, rhymes with day and bay)

I pronounce it more with an irish or scottish accent than anything.  When I talk naturally I usually have a New England accent (Car = Cah, Quarter = Kwah tah, Coffee = Cawh fee).  Some people like it, Some people hate it.  My accent gets a lot worse when I get upset.
It\'s amazing how we can do things simultaneously, like talking and not listening.

Dylia grins and sings:
Mississippi in the middle of a dry spell
Jimmy Rogers on the Victrola up high
Mama\'s dancin\' with baby on her shoulder
The sun is settin\' like molasses in the sky
The boy could sing, knew how to move, everything
Always wanting more, he\'d leave you longing for

Chorus:
Black velvet and that little boy\'s smile
Black velvet with that slow southern style
A new religion that\'ll bring ya to your knees
Black velvet if you please

Up in Memphis the music\'s like a heatwave
White lightening, bound to drive you wild
Mama\'s baby\'s in the heart of every school girl
\"Love me tender\" leaves \'em cryin\' in the aisle
The way he moved, it was a sin, so sweet and true
Always wanting more, he\'d leave you longing for

chorus

Every word of every song that he sang was for you
In a flash he was gone, it happened so soon, what could
you do?

(Solo)

chorus repeats 2x

If you please, if you please, if you please

Dylia giggles at Ahlana

so anyways....
@Taser: True not a very hard name but you never know someone may call you teaser... or umm ty-zer... god only knows what people think up >.>
