Manowar is the worse!  Even worse than Children of Bodom!  :-D

I know that stuff through a friend of mine.  Manowar, CoB, Iced Earth, Blind Guardian, Sonata Artica.... it\'s all pretty technical stuff, but it just bores me terrible.  I understand why people like them though, they\'re just not to my tastes.

Metallica played live with a orchestra and sounded much better than most bands do when recorded with various voice correcters and stuff. I rate a song on; Good singing, good melody, difficulty to actually play/sing the song. I don\'t actually care much about the words. Anything that\'s just loud bass or has a guy screaming into a microphone sucks.

Oh yeah, I agree that dream theater are quite generic. But the music sounds good, and that\'s what matters.

Anyone hear any \"Wall of Jehrico\"? They have this chick for a lead singer. From what I\'ve heard, it\'s totally bada$$. She sounds like the kind of chick who could break you in half, and menstruate all over your......... well I\'ll leave it at that. It sounds pretty awesome :3

Not every song by every metal band has mindless screaming in. And I don\'t count myself a \'fan of metal\'. I count myself as a \'fan of good music whatever the genre\'.
