[Alrighty: here\'s my interpretation of the Gobble\'s home life] :)

Excerpt from The Yliakim Encyclopaedia

Entry #26: Gobble

The Gobble is a shy, skulking creature, preferring the quiet of the shadowy caverns to the crowded grasslands and forests on the surface. It is a simple creature, spending its days scrabbling in the muck for food. It will sometimes build a simple fence, composed of sticks set erect in the mud, to direct wandering rats towards its home for an easy meal.

The Gobble is obsessed with shiny things, including what pieces of broken armor, weaponry, and chain they find. They often adorn their houses with these pieces.
Their homes are rudimentary -- little more than a pile of driftwood assembled into a pile, with a void beneath it in which it shelters itself. Many a traveller has passed right by, assuming that the Gobble home was no more than a pile of flotsam left over from the previous spring\'s flooding.
Because it is by nature a shy creature, the Gobble is abnormally aggressive towards explorers that wander within its territory. Travelers are advised to pack a sword as protection when duties require you to go through Gobble territory.

Quick concept on the 3d challenge, pretty much just stole erik\'s idea with a huge tree in the water, I think he is pissed about it :P

Phew.
So, here you are:

Wireframe render (I\'m not sure what do you mean by this, so I am posting two versions)



Scene fully rendered in Blender:



As You can see on first screenshot, there are 993 faces (all triangular).
Textures:
3 tiles of size 256x512 (all big parts of gate)
2 tiles of size 256x256 (ground and walls)
3 tiles of size 64x512 (creeper, sides of door wings)
1 tile of size 64x64 (rust)
1 tile of size 32x256 (hanging moss)
1 tile of size 128x256 (spiderweb visible only on render3)
1 tile of size 64x128 (spiderwebs)

No concept art, sorry. My 2d drawings are awfull, so I usually don\'t draw by hand. The task description was enough for me.

I have to see how it looks in game, definitely, my 3d art thread should receive some new content soon :)

I say that we chain him to a keyboard and computer with a 3d program in Signapore, and whip him until he works!

Hands down, best one I have seen Wired. Amazing.
